On behalf of everyone at St. Andrew’s Church of England Primary School

I would like to welcome you to our school

Welcome to St Andrew’s Church of England Primary School. We pride ourselves on providing a warm and welcoming environment, nestled in the heart of the village of Leasingham, just north of the market town of Sleaford. As Headteacher, it is my privilege to introduce you to our school community, where every child is encouraged to flourish in a safe, happy, and inspiring environment.

At the heart of everything we do is our school vision:
‘Everything you do, do in love’

At St Andrew’s, we seek to be a safe and happy environment, inspiring our school family to be positive participants in the world community.  A place where we are all encouraged, through love and service, to be the very best.

‘Love one another, as I have loved you’ John 13:34

We are proud of the high standards of learning and progress achieved by our children. With a dedicated team of staff providing individualised support, we strive to ensure every child reaches their full potential. Our curriculum is broad, balanced and enriched by the use of our facilities and well-resourced classrooms for each year group. We aim to develop confident, curious learners who are ready to face the challenges of the future with courage and resilience.

As a Church of England school, we have strong and meaningful links with St Andrew’s Church, the Lincoln Diocese and the local community. Our Christian foundation is central to our identity, shaping our ethos and daily worship. Through this, our children learn the importance of service and compassion in action. We are proud to be part of the wider community, working together to support families and foster a sense of belonging.

To complement our academic programme, we offer a variety of clubs and activities that cater to a wide range of interests and talents. These include sports, arts, and musical activities, giving children opportunities to develop new skills, build friendships, and enjoy their school life to the full. Our wrap-around care provision, run by a private provider on site, supports families with flexible childcare before and after school.

We hope our school website will give you a flavour of what we offer here at St. Andrew’s. We warmly invite you to explore our school further by visiting us and seeing how St. Andrew’s Church of England Primary School can be the right place for your child to grow academically, socially and spiritually. Together, we work with love and dedication to ensure every child is inspired to be the very best they can be.

Yours sincerely

Mr M W Baker
